WHO WE ARE

Our Mission:

Introduce, promote, and support the sport of Pickleball to people of all ages and conditions throughout Puerto Rico.


HISTORY

The Puerto Rico Pickleball Association is the national body that governs the sport of Pickleball in Puerto Rico.

Established in 2019, the Puerto Rico Pickleball Association is a non-profit association whose volunteers support the mission to help harness the development of “the fastest-growing sport on the planet.”  The sport was first played in 2014 at Veredas de Gurabo on the eastern side of the island.

On January 30, 2019, PRPA was established in Guaynabo at Tinto y Blanco restaurant by the following founding members:

We are committed to improving the level of play and competition here in Puerto Rico and plan to showcase our skills through our affiliations with DRD Puerto Rico, USA Pickleball, Pickleball Federation of the Americas and the World Pickleball Federation.
